Welcome Back!

By joining the distinguished community of bright and innovative scientists in the BTI Alumni Network, you not only become a meaningful part of BTI’s past –you also become an influential part of its future. No matter where your research takes you after your work at BTI, the alumni network aims to strengthen your professional network and offer you future career development opportunities, while continuing to engage with the Institute’s mission. Thank you for being an important part of the BTI community, and for your many contributions to discovery research.

Join the BTI Alumni Network today!

Simply complete the BTI Alumni Questionnaire to join the network and gain access to exclusive alumni resources!

*You may also use the questionnaire to send career developments and updates.

In the BTI Alumni Directory you will find listings of fellow BTI alumni, including their lab/department and years at BTI, current company and location, and email contact information. (Join the Network for access.)

The BTI Alumni listserv offers a convenient way for alumni to contact fellow alums for such purposes as: job postings, looking for a job, business to business opportunities, expert opinion, and more.

The BTI Biome is a quarterly publication for alumni featuring researchers and staff that worked and trained at BTI, and celebrating their invaluable contributions to the broader science community. We’ll also provide notices around regional alumni events, and opportunities to come back and visit BTI!

Members of the alumni network are frequently selected for BTI hosted speaking/presenting, mentorship, and other professional development opportunities.

Complete the alumni questionnaire to gain access to these resources, and more!

Volunteer to be a Mentor:

BTI’s Postgraduate Society (PGS) developed a mentoring program in 2017, which partners mentees with BTI Alumni mentors in a variety of research related fields, including academia, industry, science education and outreach, communication, writing, and more.

In addition to providing mentoring opportunities to BTI Alumni, the program has a great impact and can be instrumental in guiding researchers to their aspired careers.

The program’s mentoring committee meets once per year to match early-career researchers with mentors in their chosen career fields. If you are interested in becoming a mentor, please complete this questionnaire.

Thank you!
